The Founder

Attrē-founder Maria Zelenko began her career as a fashion journalist, spending over a decade writing for numerous publications. As an editor for one of Austria's leading daily newspapers, she conducted interviews with designers such as Andreas Kronthaler, Christian Louboutin, and Tommy Hilfiger, while also reporting from international fashion weeks.

Even more than fashion, she always saw jewelry as a way of self-expression and an extension of one’s personality. Over the course of her journalism career she specialized on writing about the diamond and jewelry industry, which ultimately led her to train as a diamond grader.

After her gemological education, Maria founded Attrē. Based in Vienna, she combines her in-depth knowledge of the fashion and jewelry world with a distinctive approach to design.
